What should my child wear to camp?
Dress comfy and appropriate! Your child should be in comfortable clothing that they can move freely in. It is suggested that you send your child with different layers as the facility can differ in temperature throughout the day. Middle and High School+ students may want to bring knee pads (depends each year on the choreography!)
Do you offer any discounts?
If payment is received by May 15th, you will receive a discount. See the Fees page for a breakdown. There is also a discount for returning campers!
What should my child wear to Thursday’s Dance Camp Showcase performance?
Black pants/capris/leggings and your FREE Conservatory for the Arts DANCE CAMP T-Shirt! Your child is to wear their hair in a ballerina sock bun. Instructions will go home during the week of camp. TinyTots & Minis campers need to come with their hair done in their camp shirt (which will go home with them Thursday) and their black leggings. Middle and High School students should try to have their hair done upon arrival to camp in the morning, but can change into their camp shirt and black leggings later in the day.

Do the Tiny Tots/Minis camp dancers and the Juniors campers learn together?
The Tiny Tots, Minis, and Juniors have their own personal instructors. However, some activities are done together during the week such as stretch, lunch, and show and tell at the end of the day. The Tiny Tots, 7-10 campers and the Int./Adv. campers will learn one routine together for the big finale on Thursday.
Which camp should my child attend?
-If your child is aged anywhere from 3-6 years old and potty trained they are 100% in the Tiny Tots camp. This is the camp that leaves at noon each day. FEE $110
-If your child is aged anywhere from 7-10 years old they are 100% in the 7-10 year old camp with Ms. Barker and Ms. Jeannine. This is the camp that does art projects, tie-dye, and fun upbeat hip hop, jazz, and ballet routines. FEE $135
-If your child is aged 11-13 and will be attending Middle School for the 2019-2020 year they will be in the camp with Ms. Jenna. This camp focuses on technique and is at a slower more beginning paced class which will leave the students feeling a huge success towards dancing. FEE $75
-If your child is aged 14+ and will be attending High School/College for the 2019-2020 year (or college) they will be in the camp with Jason Herrington. This camp is an advanced dance camp. If you are entering High School and/or new to dance, we highly recommend you are with Stevenson (or Jenna, depending on the year) and test it out first. Your are always more than welcome to move between the Intermediate and Advance camps to correctly place yourself. FEE $75
Why are the TinyTots/Minis Fee more than the Juniors School Fee?
-Being such a young age, these students are supervised and guided a lot more than the Int./Adv. students. Furthermore, the students of the beginning camp get to do a lot more than just DANCE. There’s educational lessons on teamwork, passion, leadership, determination, courage, performance, and much more!
The dancers will get to create shirts for one of their routines at Thursday’s showcase.
They will also create “props” for one of their dance routines.
The Minis Dance Camp also focuses on more than one style of dance. Each day will have a different theme focused around Technique, Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop.
