At the TSLCA Color Guard Ensembles, we take pride in offering an enriching program that fosters creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. Our performers don’t just take the stage—they tell stories, captivate audiences, and push the boundaries of artistry through movement and equipment choreography.

A Dynamic Fusion of Art and Athleticism
Color Guard is an extraordinary performing art that blends dance, drama, and precision choreography with the mastery of flags, sabers, and rifles. As an integral part of the Bands of America National Champion Marching Band, our Color Guard brings performances to life on the field, enhancing the visual and emotional impact of every show.

Beyond the marching season, our talented students continue to shine in Winter Guard, a competitive indoor discipline where performers showcase breathtaking routines set to music. Winter Guard is a unique fusion of pageantry, theater, and athleticism, as our teams travel across the country to compete on some of the most prestigious stages in the activity.

Championship Legacy
Our Scholastic World Guard has made history, earning two WGI Scholastic World Class Championship titles in 2014 and 2016, and consistently ranking among the top programs in the world. In 2020, we were ranked #1 globally, a testament to the dedication, skill, and passion of our students and instructors.

In 2023, our program earned the prestigious title of WGI Scholastic Silver Medalist, delivering what was widely regarded as the most innovative and musically collaborative production across all of WGI that season. This achievement cemented our reputation as a program that not only competes at the highest level but also pushes the creative boundaries of the activity.

Our Winter Guard has been a WGI World Championship Finalist an astounding 16 times, competing against the most elite programs in the nation. We are also proud to be 34-time WGI Power Regional Champions and have claimed multiple FFCC Scholastic World and Scholastic A Championship titles.

Under the expert direction of Mrs. Jeannine Ford, the Color Guard and Winter Guard perform at all TSOPE/Marching Band appearances and Bands of America regional and national events. Our program is proudly supported by the Leadership Conservatory for the Arts and funded in part by the Band Booster organization.
